"It is a book learning how to learn"
Well, if you have trouble learning, how can you learn how to learn using this book? It all seems kinda oxymoronic and a real paradox, this book seems to be a sham for ppl like me trying to get money off our already poor arses, but I'll look for it anyways, but seeing that I cannot learn, I dunno the point.

Contrary to what phyciatrists think, success is necessary to fight depression when you live in a capitalistic society, success is like food when it comes to capitalism, without this food, you are starving, and it's hard to be happy about it when you are just hungry. . .

Your record here I believe is +18 -11 =3
I suspect your "I suck" attitude would be the same if your record were +50 - 1 = 0.
Capitalism doesn't stop anybody from being happy. The best cure for depression is happiness, not some mythical attainment of being number one. I can enjoy a cup of coffee as well as Donald Trump or Bill Gates. I can enjoy a sunrise as well as them too.

You do know, I wasn't like this forever, I used to be a happy child. A lot of ppl assume that ppl like me simply develop pessimism and it's part of some disease consuming you. It's not, when I was a kid, I worked hard, and had results, and I was simply happy. However, as a teenager, that work turned to failures, and now the failures are continuing until ...[text shortened]... u, I'm sorry, I don't know what to say, I wish I could find out what makes you learn better."
Another good book to learn from (Mateulose) is Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintnance. It has nothing to do with chess. It is about how to interact with the world we find ourselves in. I think you have the mistaken impression that if you suddenly became a great chess player you would be happy, but of course you know that there are lots better people out there than the RHP players and sooner or later you'd be in the same fix, but at a higher level. I think what you really need is a good girlfriend. As someone said, chess is a fickle mistress.
