Well, this game was extremelyclose to breaking Bowmann's and TRAINS44's record.Extremely. :'(😠:'(

Game 1278385

155 and 1/2 moves.

I think that my game is more legitimate than Bowmann's and TRAINS44's game, because in their game, the last 40 moves were from a drawn position.

Game 1120321

157 moves.

What do you think?

Edit: never mind you lose.

Occured at least 7 times by my count.

An interesting game, but with chances missed by both sides. As late as the 155th move, you could have drawn!

In this position, White should have played 155.Qa4 mate. But instead he blundered by putting his queen on an unprotected square.

155.Qb5?? should have been met with ..Kxb5 and a draw.

I was going for game length, not the end result.

Banana, you HAD the game length. You were so anxious to beat Bowmann and I, that you forgot about that you coulda drew that game rather than be mated, and STILL had a record game length.

And yet you already said: 'I think that my game is more legitimate than Bowmann's and TRAINS44's...'

Pillock!

Also note that in the TRAINS44-BOWMANN game the number of moves is a prime number.

How on earth did you manage to loose that game? You were up about 4 pawns on move 50, did you start wearing a blindfold or something? (no offense intended, but you had a completely, 100%, no questions asked, winning position!!)

And why would you sacrifice a game just to have a record # of moves????? Why?? I'm shocked at you Mr. Wildfire. You DO know better.

Even if it doesn't win the prize for the most moves, it certainly deserves the prize for the worst played endgame. And you get a prize for somehow managing to lose it.

Yes, I know... I was just caught up in the excitement of breaking a long-standing record, and I became foolish and stupid.

I think that you were so caught up in the fact that You were winning that you forgot to protect the queen. I've done it before and didn't get caught, the least you could do is be fair to your opponent and admit that you both made a mistake instead of just them.
