I have played him in a tourney that is ongoing, drew one lost one to him. The tourney leader hasn't yet finished his games with him. Will my results stand for the tourney purposes? I have a sneaking suspicion they will...
I am pleased to say this has happened to me in
Tournament 1196 where he had already completed his games (and won both) against the second highest rated player. So I get a bonus of 6 points (from 2 timeout wins) and am in with an excellant chance of winning a tournament I thought I was now out of (as is the 4th player). Poor scottcrockart whom I personally know as he plays OTB with me is up against it yet I know him to be a far better player than I am (rated about 2200 OTB).
