If you want to learn it, play it. Your opponent probably doesn't know it either. 🙂

I think after 1.Nf3 ..c5 the best continuation is to play 2.e4! The sicilian with the white pieces is so much fun!! If 1..d5 then 2.d4 going into a Queens gambit is my choice. Nf3 is a great way to start as you make black choose a system but the Nf3 move is in pretty much every white opening so your trans-positional possibilities as white are tremendous. 🙂

I agree. I enjoy playing the Reti, but after 1.Nf3 c5, I play 2.e4.

I ALWAYS open nf3 ... bit boring, I know, but I think its easy to transpose QP or KP .... and its good to learn new openings from how your opponent responds!
