Here is a game I played on another website. I played white.

I was just sort of winging it. I wasn't even sure of the opening I wanted to play at the time. I wasn't paying much attention. By move 4 I thought I had made a big blunder and was holding my breath. For a few moves afterwords I though man I am being set up here, something is not right, this is way too easy. This had to be a beginner right. With a 1700 rating?

Check this out and tell me this wasn't a kid who's Mom or Dad is going to be very angry. No one can be this bad can they? What the heck were they thinking?

But as I think back, I do have a couple of these idiot games from the other side in my history. 😕

learn notation buddy. N is for knight R is for rook Q is for queen K is for king and any pawn move just state where it went not where it is from. if two knights can go the same place then say which knight it is like Nbd4.

I just copied and pasted what was on the website.
What a pain in the butt. I didn't know you guys were so picky. Is this better for you? 🙂 I hope I translated it right. Doesn't hardly seem worth it.

Some guys just like to find fault with trivial things.

I suspect it is because they are no good at what really matters on this site. Chess!

I find pointless starting squares in notation annoying as well. But I'm good at chess. What's even more annoying is putting a line break after every move.

I prefer line breaks after each move. It makes a cleaner presentation. As far as annotated starting squares vs. piece designators, not a big deal. I'm only OK at chess. Perhaps I'd be better if I were more easily annoyed.

Line-breaks after each move makes it easier to picture the game in your head, imo, so I prefer them too for shorter games. With longer games where I can't do this and have to c&p into WinBoard it makes no odds.

I see, so that is how you like it presented then. My apologies I don't post much in the chess only site. I will catch on though. I can usually read it just about anyway. But it does look more organised this way. Thanks.🙂

You are good at Bragging too. I find that annoying. I guess we are both just annoying. Get over it.
