If you were the world champion, what openings would you try to make fashionable? As an aside, what openings are you fed up of seeing?

Reti...difficult complicated middle game positions that explode into aggressive exchanges and Kings Gambit although I never play the latter corr or otb.
Fed up with Queens Gambits.....borrrrrring.

I'd like to see more of the Kings Indian Attack for white and Caro Kann defence for black. I'd like to see less of the Sicilian. The chess world had been overloaded with Sicilian games for too long.😏

I'd play 1. a4 just to fck with people.

I'll quit playing the queens gambit when black quits playing the sicilian!
