You are correct, I am just challenging you to spot the signs so you can actually find things like this when nobody is telling you something is there. Also, its not safe to make a move like this if you can only see the next couple of moves.... Maybe work on your vision a bit? Not a bad remark just some helpful(hopefully) constructive criticism.
