Hi,
I would like to add another opening to my belt. Against 1 e4, I always play the Caro-Kann but I would like to learn the Sicilian Scheveningen.
Before, I casually played the Sicilian, so I know of the various and often complicated variations. Mostly I aimed to play Scheveningen type positions (placing the pawns on e6 and d6).
As I don't have any in-depth knowledge on the Scheveningen, can anyone share any knowledge on Black's general and specific strategies, tactics, plans, the different opening lines of the Scheveningen, etc. I do know that Black's general plan in the Sicilian is to play on the queenside, use half open C file, etc.
Thanks!
