I played this game in an OTB club match tonight. After the first 6 moves I was beginning to think I was in for a major drubbing! My opponent is rated higher than I, around 160 ECF. The Pgn thingy doesn't like my computer so it may be Swiss Gambit to the rescue, again, to post the game...............
I play black pieces.
1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.Bb5 Ne7?(looking to nick a piece-you must all know that one!)4.NxP pc6 5.Bc4 pd5 6. pxp pxp??? (Nxp, surely?) 7.Bb5+ Nc6 8.NxN PxN 9. BxP+ Bd7 10. BxR QxB 11.d4 Bd6 12.0-0 Ne7 13.Qf3 0-0 14. Bf4 BxB 15. QxB Ng6
16.Qg3 Re8 17. Nc3 Qb7 18. pb3 Qc6 19. Na4 Qxc2 20. R(f)c1 Qf5 21. Nc5 Nf4 22. Kf1???? Bb5+ and white resigned. I may add my comments in the next day or so, just too late tonight!
A case of: 'Many a slip twixt cup and lip!'
