Bizarre game I played as white on another server...from about move 25 on, I was given a free hand to do whatever I wanted! Can anyone match this from one of their own games? We're talking 25 moves of total freedom at least.
yes - total freedom to do anything you want - but it's sort of like having total freedom to watch anything you want on TV and all 57 channels have nothing on but infomercials.
these sorts of games are very intriguing - and VERY frustrating - each side ends up making seemingly meaningless moves until an opportunity presents itself - or until somebody (like me) loses patience and tries some sort of stupid gambit to break the logjam and loses.

Here's one of mine that is similar. I'm white. Same idea. A closed game with each army hiding behind pawn walls probing for a crack. I made the sacrifice to create a glacis and was able to win. Moves 20 to 30 for both sides are mostly pointless.
Below the game it shows the material balance. At the end of the game it says +4. Has this 'feature' always been there? Just that I've never noticed it before.
