Anybody get the new volume of Kasparov series (Predecessors...). What do you think? I thought the analysis of the previous volumes was quite good. Now that Kasparov is writing about his own time, I thought it might be interesting to read his analysis. I have two of the earlier volumes in hardback and they're good books, in my 'umble opinion.

I don't think Volume 4 (the book on Fischer) has been published. It's supposed to be in the shops by the beginning of December. Volume 3 came out a couple of weeks ago, but I haven't got around to looking at it. From what I've seen of the first two books, the games analysis should be fantastic, although I tend to skip over 'Kasparov's' plagiarised and inaccurate biographical information.

Yea, you're right. It hasn't been published. I just checked Chess Cafe and they said Volume 3 was the newest. I got an Everyman advert in the mail advertising the fourth volume. Nowhere does it say it hasn't been published yet. I guess they're looking for advance customers. Based on the advert, I went to several book stores looking for it. Stupid me.
