Did you try setting it on the easiest level?

Btw, is this the SciSys Kasparov Turbostar 432?

You could post up a game in the forums here. Computer programs all tend to differ in style depending on their positional/piece value algorithym, game databases and move depth

Personally I hate playing against computers unless it plays 'weird' moves, such as 1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 d5 or 1. f4 e6 2. Nf3 Bd6?

Then I'll go out of my way to destroy it

It looks like your best chance of beating it will be to set the skill level to A8 (1 second handicap level). Just check the manual for instructions. If you don't have a manual, here's an online pdf version:

Yeah just beat the bloody thing for the first time this morning!!! then ten minutes later won again! (on easy level A8) How chuffed am I!
Any one know what the ELO rating is for the easy level on the turbostar??
It will be low but it will give me a bench mark to improve on...
Cheers..
