    Yes but I believe the cirumstance ivan....was mentioning was not the same one you are mentioning.

    I think that he believes that 2N + K vs K can be forced.

    Religious thing.

    I was suppose to wake up at 4 am, eat and then go back to sleep and break it at 6 pm but rather I ate at 1 am the night before and then woke up and then broke my fast at 6 pm.

    My way was much longer but I didn't want to wake up just to eat and go back to sleep again.

    yep....king/knight/knight versus king= draw.

    Thought everybody knew that.

    From some chessbook:

    "With two knights versus a lone king, although there are checkmate positions, the superior side cannot force them against proper (and easy) defense. (The superior side can force stalemate.) Interestingly, if the lone king has a pawn (and sometimes with two pawns), then checkmate can be forced in some cases."
