My game has improved for one reason, before I move I FIRST take into the consideration the defense of MY king. I'll probably always be a more of an attacker than a defender in chess, (which is why I still make a lot of blunders, in which I'm working on 😉. But I see a lot more lines of attack when I'm concentrating on defending my king. What do you think? All comments, suggestions and opinions welcome!

It is a very good starting point for the game. The king is the game's only absolute, so it is a good foundation for everything else.

Many games are lost because one player forgot to "check all checks".
