GP likes to see the king's bishop "developed" on f7 rather than g2! 😉

In truth I often as not chop my White King's Bishop for the c6 Knight
    in the Lopez and Sicilian.

My Bishop understands and accepts this as we both think Knights are stronger than Bishops.

When I play 3.Bc4. Yes it's going on f7 with a check or after a wee
jiggle about it's sacs itself on h7.

If you want to Fianchetto your White King's Bishop then do it the Morphy way.
First creat havoc with said Bishop and then...and only then...fianchetto it.

    Morphy - Harrwitz, Paris 1858.

    Hi Paul,

Swapped all the '[]' symbols with '{}' changed the 00 to 0-0 and your
posted game just sailed into my pgn viewer.

Other than that I have not changed anything.

Fischer - Myagmarsuren, Sousse Interzonal 1967

If you want to Fianchetto your White King's Bishop ...[text shortened]... a chorus of Grandmasters over the last four decades! A pretty end to a well-played game.} [/pgn]
