A bishop already on the b file can't go to b3. No cheating! 😠

Has anyone made a move that required five characters in algebraic notation to express the move?

Something like:

Moving any Bishop to c4 requires 5 characters, e.g. Bd5c4.

This is the position after Black's 16th move. Give the game score.

Monkey and Watch All The Way

I see white must ditch the rook (via h3?) and the two bishops at d6 and g6 (possibly or a rook). I'm really awful at these things.

I got Stooges on the TV and BBQ in the skillet. I'll have to pass for now.

I can help you become un-awful.

The first step is to count the moves Black must make.

OK

Here are black's 16 moves in no particular order:

1.hxg6
2.Rh5
3.Ra5
4.e5
5.cxd6
6.Bb7
7.b5
8.0-0-0
9.Kb8
10.Ka8
11.Rb8
12.Ba3
13.Nc6
14.Nd4
15.Qb6
16.Qb3

Obviously, hxg6 must wait for a piece on g6.

e5 must come in and then Ba3 before cxd6.

Qb6 and Qb3 must come in before b5 but after cxd6.

I guess to solve black you have to find a scheme that makes all this work.

I'll think on it some more over the day (little busy now) and see what I can come up with.

I think I solved it !!!

Thanks! It took some time and effort, but I got it! The sad thing is that this is probably a level one puzzle for Swiss.
