Does anyone who is half decent want to give lessons to a novice? Specifically me. I cannot bear walking into a smelly church hall full of old men in tweed to improve my chess, i would much rather take direction from you lovely internet people!

Yea, go to chessgames.com find your opening and start watching how GM's play it.
Don't stop watching... just keep going through games 🙂

Play as many rook and bishop endings you can get your hands on - against your CPU.

    Good luck!
