Why as a guest where you do not gain points for a rating you would wait until your opponents rating time stops if they do not move. I just leave and take the lose and go to the next game.

Ok then say on this site if i am playing you in Blitz of 15 minutes and i am losing so i just let the time run out why would you stay and wait for the win?

Ok, here is my answer: If somebody has the bad habit/etiquete to leave a game in a lost position, whether it is rated or not, I would wait until the clock run out. The alternative is to leave the game as well, and you may lose a won game (it isn't about the rating). In blitz it isn't a big deal to wait some minutes; you can do something else and just keep an eye on the clock.

15 minutes would be a standard game at FICS. At that time control, I'd just open another window and surf the web until time runs out.
Even then at FICS I've had my time go negative and no flag fall, even if I check the flag. I think it is a bug.
