Is this the solution you were looking for?

    1. Qg2+ Kxd3 {Then maybe} 2. Qxf1+ {now if...} 2...Kxe4 3. f5+ Kd5 4.Qf3+ Ke6 5. Qc6+ 5. Ke7 Qd7+ {I believe that is Checkmate in 6, but can white do something different?}

If White replies Kc2 instead of taking the Knight then that variations appears busted, also.

So is the trick solution that greenpawn34 gives below what you meant?

I am making no more efforts on solving this puzzle until I get clarification from Exuma as to what the heck he means. 😏

On the geenpawn32 thread tomtom232 came up with this idea. Is it right?

I can clearly remember Exuma saying you have to sac the Rook.
Your last 'solution' has not sacced a Rook.

This is fun. I vote Exuma posts a six mover every week.
It appears to keep to RJ busy for a few hours
How many variations is that he has posted in the two threads.
    I make it 26!

We, tomtom232 and myself, have sacrificed a Rook. That does not mean the player for the White pieces has to take it, numbnuts.

Exuma clearly states. "you must sac the rook."

So sac the Rook and stop making it up as go along to suit yourself.

    My solution sacced the Rook.
Exuma never said anything about White not taking it.
OK I counted one move as two moves.
but Exuma never said don't do this. I was following his rules.

You must play by Exuma's rules RJ. It's his thread, you cannot barge in
    and start changing the conditions.

Well, if your understanding is right. Exuma did not make it clear to us. I don't think tomtom232 thought it was some kind of joke. I will know never to attempt to try to solve any of his chess puzzles again. He can get his jollies off at the expense of some other redneck dummy. This redneck dummy is done with this puzzle. It is either solved or it is not.
