I don't care one way or the other for Heisman,, but I wouldnt be so quick to dismiss the accomplishments of a National Master. I have played many OTB and have nothing but respect for their chess.
I have much more respect for the old GMs, IMs and FMs linked above, who don't mind playing rated games even if it shows their declining chess. they're going down with their boots on, as real men and women should.

sure, but we're not selling people services either. when money gets involved, the customer gets some rights. false advertizing is a crime at least hereabouts. Yasser i have heard nothing but praise for, although i have neither read any of his books nor watched any of his videos.

I love to hear foreign accents when listening to chess lectures - there is something hypnotic about them that pulls you in and makes you feel more comfortable.... not in a gay way, mind you.
Having said that, anyone who has seen a kingscrusher video online will probably appreciate the English take on the game - he is a great commentator.

I like it most when she moves a piece to the third rank - she says it like queen c sree.
I dont think I would enjoy playing her very much - she seems to be so well prepared in the openings, and quite an aggressive type of player, not the sort of opponent that I last very long against - but at least she is a good teacher.

I looked at that anand game earlier - it was a bit of a swindle really - he won a piece very early on but gave it back for a speculative attack which never really materialised.
Still, her counter was pretty convincing really, it is not often you see a 2800 player made to look amaturish in his play.
