I remember that on SNL, Art. That was back when I liked Eddie Murphy. But later in his stage acts he would bash gays ("faggots" is the term he used).

Then later I read a story in the newspaper where he got busted with a transexual in Hollywood. "I was just being a good samaritan and giving her a ride, officer,"said Murphy. Yeah, sure. He just happened to be driving down a street late at night known to be frequented by transexual prositutes and decided to give one a "ride" because the poor guy/girl didn't want to make anymore money 😉 :

Later that same transexual prostitute was found dead under mysterious circumstances:

While I was locating the youtube video on Murphy, I found this just below it:

It's a well-known fact that those who are the most adamantly anti-gay are most likely gay themselves.

I wonder what the dispute was ? Perhaps he wouldn't resign ?

I once played a Latvian a few years back. The guy was a better player than me, but the first time we played, I beat. During that game, he got angry and took back a move that he already made. I ignored it, and eventually, I had a passed pawn that he couldn't stop. Angry and cursing, he demanded to play me again, but the guy who's house we were playing in said it was late, and he needed to sleep.

The Latvian guy turned out to be a half decent fellow after he beat me in a rematch. But it left a bad taste in my mouth. I hope his attitude isn't common among Latvians.

Man, they must have some strange customs for losing in Latvia. 😕

In defence of Latvians, let's remember where Tal was from.

That explains why he wanted to win. 😕

They should've just gone to a chess program and played it out and then it would've shown the rules to whatever they were fighting about.

On Wikipedia.org they have a history page on deaths related to chess. With this one included.

Michael Steward went to jail for a while.

Speaking of bad taste in the mouth- how ironic that you would say that considering that in an article mentioned- he killed his landlord over a disputed move, cut him open, and ate his lung! Theres a bad taste in the mouth for ya!

"In a 2011 episode of Doctor Who, the Doctor plays a game of chess where the pieces are electrified, presumably killing a losing player."

Russ, can you add this to your list of new features.

There's a bit of a difference between "being a bad loser" and swearing a bit and "being a bad loser" and killing one's opponent and eating their lungs.
