White to play and mate in 2.

There was this silly example of a puzzle one time I found in the newspaper, basicly, every square was filled with a white squared bishop and there were 7 pawns all blocked by the bishops, which of course couldn't move because they are all stuck on their white squares, and it asked you to find mate. Ohhhh, all the newbies who wasted time with that, good joke though... 🙄

White to play and mate in 2.
I'm pretty sure that it doesn't work. There are only two squares that white can move his queen to to be taken and neither of those squares means that black is forced to take the queen...

black isn't forced to play Kxa5 so that can't be it...

He can take with the knight.

After Ba3+, I thought I found it by simply moving the bishop, discovered checkmate with the rook, but alas, through "best" play, black can delay a move by suicide interposing with the knight and making it a mate in 3. So technicly, I don't think I found it unless I missed something in the calculation, although, after Ba3+, mate is pretty much soon guaranteed regardless.

If Nxa5 then Ba3 mate

The answer is Ra5. After Ra5 the king cannot move except to capture the rook, then Bd2 mate.

If Nxa5 then ba3 mate.

Any move besides e3 then Bd2 mate. If e3 then Rb5 mate.
