anyone analyzed the whole game yet? amazing to say the least, it gives me headaches just looking at it.

could any 2000+ on here break it down for us?

I wonder if McShane considered playing 163. Kg6 Nxg8 164. Kf7, with checkmate maybe past move 200. One for the record books.

I was surpised that Short resigned, knowing his sense of humor I wondered if he would run around with the king for a few more moves, to make it even a higher of game. Im guessing losing a 163 move games isnt that fun though 😛

McShanes next game is against Carlsen right? that should mean an edge for Magnus, Im guessing McShane/Short are going to be fatigued for the next round

lol thats for sure. I have fake money on him winning the whole thing, so this is good. 😀
him and Kramnik are for sure the 2 top dogs of the tourney, so for them to meet in the 1st round and a have a decisive result fun.. going to be interesting to see how it plays out.
