I did forfeit a ton of games, but yes easily a hundred of my defeats have been like that, or worse.😵

It doesn't help my chess, but playing fast is fun.😀

Well as as long you are enjoying yourself DC that's all that matters.

(pity though, you are getting into good positions through natural
ability, investing a wee bit of time at the crucial parts of the game
could see you pulling off a brilliancy or two.)

That's the problem.

Recognising the crucial points.😛

When you think you see a good move - that's crucial.

Look for a better move. Most good moves can be brightened up.

Look for an in-between move that will turn your good move
into a killer move.
