I don't know, it would probably be hard to do it in a month, unless she has better than average chess talent. What's the rush?

After three years of occasional fights with her about me spending too much time with chess, finally she got very interested in it (actually, somehow in my company of friends and family everybody plays chess, from 1000 to 2000 level so she doesn't want to be an exception).
The problem is I do not know how to teach her. I introduced piece movements to her, ...[text shortened]... was thinking about Chessmaster academy, where to start, where to start ?!
Thanks in advance.
play “hope” chess – anyway favorable tactics will arise in good time and you can demonstrate them. While playing, teach how to develop and a trick (tactic or two) such as forks, pins, skewers and later, deflections. Don’t overdo it, a trick or two per game is fine. Allow takebacks occasionally, whatever. Later you can teach a bit of general strategy and a few of the basic mates, four move mate, K R vs K mate, etc.
Play games, play games!!! Chess books are so boring to the non-chess player and the notation provides another obstacle.
Ok, if you really want a book... the one below is free. 🙂
The Project Gutenberg EBook of The Blue Book of Chess
by Howard Staunton and "Modern Authorities"
http://www.gutenberg.org/files/16377/16377-h/16377-h.htm
(1.02 MB)
Includes basics regarding how the pieces operate, technical terms, rules, relative value of chess pieces, general chess principles and advice. PGN’s of all games page 57 onward in algebraic notation found at end of book with Staunton’s annotations included.

Thanks for the help everybody. (And innapropriate comments 😛)
I bought another Chessmaster genuine copy (where is my old one ?? 😕)and now she is passing Chessmaster academy and hung piece drills (where you have to take undefended pieces under time attack.)
She learnt opening principles extremly well. But the most annoying thing that she does are notorious blunders. Maybe I am too impatient but I lose my nerves sometimes. I mean, if I tell her "Don't move your piece to a certain square before you check it's not under attack of some enemy piece" then why she occasionaly throws queen exactly in to the first left or right diagonal square next to her opponents pawn ? I've learnt basic rules as a child so I do not remember, but is it chess really so difficult even to start with ?
She plays now chessmaster peronalities with me analyizing every her game after she finish it. But I thought it will be faster... 🙁
Am I just too impatient ? She plays for ten days now, 2 hours daily.

With my girl I'd attack her pieces with a pan and when it was her turn she would happily move another piece as if she forgot that pawns eat diagonally. Or she would try to set up some ridiculous threat. But this things take time. Specially if you are not used to it.
