Hi. I'm fairly new to chess... At one point, I thought I was good, but I know otherwise now that i've gone to high school and faced people who were considered "intermediate" by tournament standards. I've actually beaten a couple of them, but I was wondering if anyone out there could show me some moves...

Every young person thinks they're "really good" when they manage to beat everyone else their own age who barely know how the pieces move, it's natural.
Join a club, become a USCF/FIDE member, play a bunch of rated tournaments, study relentlessly for about ten years, and then you will have an idea as to your true potential.
It's been said that the ability to play chess is the sign of an inquiring mind, but the ability to play chess well is the mark of a mis-spent youth.
Take heed, and welcome to our little slice of hell.

first move to the book store, and buy some good chess books.
Then move to the chess club and play a lot of games.
Then move to get a teacher, or coach.
And then you will move up in the chess world..😀
