I was able to wn a tourney vs Petrovitch......

We played four game, and he won the first, he was also to hold a draw in the second, so, in my head, I could have said, the tourney is lost, so, let's resign.... points lost do not matter.

but I played instead, and he made mistake...

Well, the fact, that we played four game, I lost the first... So i tought it as the saddest ending for a good player, he had won one game, the only thing, he needed, was a fast draw, and he had it, but he lost and got defeated. Here are those four game, can anyone help me analyse those ?

I don't remember the res of the game, but he gave a pawn and lost.

( here, a4 was poor move. I should have being right with Rc1 and Rec1 ) then the mistake is ... h6 and Nd6, since, ... h5 lead to draw and he win the tourney, ) ( The move Be1, i've done since, he could sac his rook on my pawn and attack the bishop who is defenless, after, Nxd5 Rxd5 2.. Rxc7 rxc7 3.Rxc7 and now, Rxd4..... he wins back his pawn, so, no thanks. no queen sac, but rather, good exchange. )



Not even twenty, non-database move have been done, and he offer a draw, I was in a inferior position, du, to having my rook on a square, on which she end up trapped, she can't return. and my position become inferior. Ne4, is far rom good, it was played on his mind, it just had some trap. and since Ne4 do not accomplish a thing, I saw my bad move, and quickly take the draw. save from losing to him once more. ) ( no four lost)




The most stuid of them all, in with such an opening, he never had a single chance was cramed in a corner. the move Rd3 had a reason, black is nearly forced to exchange big piece, and Rxd8 only exchange on big piece, I want both to be exchanged, hence, this move come in.


this is really pure bad play from a good player... and shocking for many....
