I tried logging in with the Babas beta with no success. Using the server chessclub.com and the port 5072 I got an error saying "Unknown Server". These are the exact specs used by Blitzin, and I set my firewall to allow the program on all ports. Any ideas?

In any case, it's not a big deal. Blitzin and Icarus are both very good UIs. (Plus Dasher is coming in 2 weeks)
BTW: I just signed up for a week trial on ICC. Maybe we can play some time. I also plan on signing up on July 30-31. I wouldn't have done it before, but now that I read about Dasher and other improvements, as well as the price increase, I'm pretty confident. Plus, I get a student discount.
Ok hopefully this gets through.. I notice you said you cannot connect to FICS with babaschess and then you wrote the ICC link.. "chessclub.com" without cheating babaschess into thinking it's connecting to FICS you cannot connect to ICC. Cannot believe you people are having trouble with babaschess.. silly ICC people. FICS's site is freechess.org port 5000 or 23.
IF you have problems accessing an engine with ICC it's probably because your playing.. Babaschess blocks all access to engines if it detects babaschess running an engine. so you cannot even start two instances of babaschess and play in one and analyse in the other. If the problem is different from what I suggested then your probably doing something wrong.. and 3.9 can support UCI protocols, and Dasher probably copied a lot of babaschess so I doubt it will even come close.. If it does I am still against ICC they SUCK!!!

One reason I got babachess 3.9 was because you can add arrows and circles in Examine mode similar to Fritz. Fritz give you more options and colors but still, it's pretty good and free.
First week for me using Babachess and Fics and i'm impressed and it's all free unlike ICC.

But when Yahoo introduced some new colors, I hate it . After playing for years on the same board you don't want it to change.
