NIC Yearbook

This thing's pretty interesting, and it seems to have a lot of good articles - the only downside seems to be the price. The other thing that bothers me is that it seems all but useless for anybody under 2000 ELO. Is it worth it to buy any/subscribe to NIC if you're rated under 2000?

I've bought a few, and found them useful. But, in general things like ChessBase and ChessBase magazine are better suited for us weaklings.
