The final check was by a pawn. Dunno about you but I love doing that. 🙂 Of course he is supported by several other pieces. Pay no attention to the queen blunder.

Nxe5 wow I guess that's why I'm rated 1200 some things that require giving up a knight for pawn don't pop out at us heh.
Here's another where I blundered away some material but still managed to get the win with a pawn. This one she could have stopped me but both of us being lower rated I came out ahead.

No, Nxe5 is the best move.
3. ...fxe5 4. Qh5+ +-
the most extreme situation is similar to: Game 2319900
just replace the f pawn with a knight
