1)Do you think it's a good idea to play the same opening again and again as white, whatever it's a known one or your personal one ?

I found it very interesting because I am learning all the limits/quality of it, but maybe that can turn you game to become quiet poor then.

2) Do you have a look at the previous game of your oponent when playing them to have a hint of what they like or which way they will be likely to go ?

If my opponent knows my favourite opening, he can easily prepare for a surprise for me. Not so good...

Why not? Would that not give you a better game? Something of which to improve upon?

A win that I can feel good about?
A loss that I can learn from?
I know what I want. The same as Kramnik want. A win.

You want a win, at the expense of the possibility of a consistent weakness in your game being exposed? OR have that weakness exposed so that you can correct it, and win more games in the future?
