A wee glimpse into one of my latest 2nd hand acquisitions.
Rudolf Spielmann ’Master of Invention’ by Neil McDonald

Then, somehow (I’ve no idea how this happened) but we went
onto Red Hot Players who have castled into a mate in one.
This often happens to me when I sit down to write a blog.
I soon get sidetrack, you can blame Bogoljubow for this.

I spotted a shot in Ghost of a Duke - Mark Jones RHP 2021 (White to play)

    White played 20.Rab1 Bxd2 21.Rxd2 Bxf3 22.gxf3 Qg5+

    and 23.Qxd2.

I’m saying instead of 20.Rab1 let’s try 20.d4 letting the combo happen.
What difference does 20.d4 make to the 20...Bxd2 21.Rxd2 Bxf3 idea.

Then this puzzle, it is Black to play and White to win.

Speaking of castling into it, here’s a little gem of my own:

    Hi moonbus

As I said in the blog I've not done it yet...but give me time.

Instead of 6.0-0 6.Qc2 looks very good.

One of my recent blunders was here. v MikeKoplitz

I played 13.Bb5 dropping the Knight on f3.
I did not realise till a few moves later what I had done.

    @greenpawn34

Yup, I fried a perfectly playable position. Happens to all of us sometimes, even Bogo.
