How would you feel if SOMEONE you know was at a national championship, beat a freeking posh rich boy who gets lessons from an International Master, only got beat by someone way older, got 4/5, the posh rich boy got 4/5, and then that SOMEONE happens to loose on a tiebreak even though the tie break should have made that SOMEONE the winner?... Not giving any hints of who the SOMEONE was...

Damn! 😳😳🙁🙁:'(:'(😠😠

Why should that someone have won the tiebreak?

Why did someone fail miserably in a tiebreak game he should have won? Sounds like someone needs a beating.

I think that someone lost in a tiebreak system, rather than a game. These are usually based upon how your opponents scored.

How can you say what the tie-break system should have done?

I presume the rules where there at the start.

Which championship was this anyway?

Scottish Schools Individual Championships.
Go to http://www.chessscotland.com/ and then click on "Scottish Schools Individual results" (April 3rd).

Perhaps the tie-breaking system used was "youngest player wins" as the posh kid was under 13.
