Seems like they got a pretty raw deal.
The men would have staged a walk out the moment they heard
their expenses were not being met.
"After qualifying for this prestigious event, we have to pay our own expenses
to come and play in this championship."
Good luck to them, they need to stick together on this one.

surprised to see houska sign it. i'm pretty sure the ECF (ie ordinary uk chessplayers) paid for her trip.
