1.e4 Nc6
2.d4 e5
3.d5 Nce7
4.f4!? Ng6
5.f5!? Qh4+
6.Kd2 Qxe4
7.fxg6 Qxd5+
8.Ke1 Qxd1+
9.Kxd1 hxg6

P.S.: I say that black has enough compensation. 4.f4 is really a matter of choice. 4.Nf3 is quite "normal" in this opening.
What do you play after 2. Nf3 ? Just transpose to the open games with 2. ..e5 ?

Is that anything like the Baked Badger?

Edit - OK, I was just being silly. I know it's the Hammerschlag. Has this actually been played even halfway seriously by any strong players?

Thanks, ...I think 😵

I've been staying in the shadows mostly. It's good to see you posting again, too. We're all just one big, happy family here, right? 😀

lol, we are certainly a family, as for happiness, mmmm, i remain optimistic but as yet, unconvinced, on the forum there is just the usual debates about cheats and openings and which minor pieces are best exchanged etc etc, with the occasional entertaining piece from greenpawn, nothing of any real controversy for a chess patzer to get his teeth into although i thought i had started something with northern lad, but it took on a personal tone therefore i desisted, just because someone may be a fide master does not give him the right to curb someone else freedom of speech, but he was offended, so i desisted, he didn't like being called, 'dude', even though its a triviality, i dunno, maybe he doesn't wear sharp enough clothes or something, or he feels its a derogatory term, anyhow, life goes on, hum ho!
