Anyone here know other good sites that have forums on them? Dont mind if you can play or not but i want to know if there are other forums

The best chess forum is The Chess Exchange

It is well moderated, so most of the trash gets thrown out

If you want forums for programming chess engines, then try the Winboard Forum

Search for a specific topic and forum links will be in large supply. Or, widen your keyword usage and you might find something.

when I google "chess forums" I get 2.4 million hits. I glanced through the first 40 or so, and saw many promising links.
