5 second thinking in my still unfinished older games exposed.
Game 2833446
Here's my thought.
55. Nxd6+
Because 55. Kf8 Re8mates prettily.
and if the rook takes I'm up a rook and a pawn right?
56. Be5+ a simple fork I would have seen had I not already written this game off as a win.
Now all black does is park his bishop on the b8-h2 diagonal and his king on f6 and white can't make any progress.
Fortunately the match was already won, so the only thing that suffered was my rating and my pride.
Originally posted by Diet CokeIntresting position, im not sure if its really a draw though, would be intresting to see if white can just move his king around to b5 and make some progress.

Edit : Infact I just won it against F9. Although its play can probably be improved on but your two protected passed pawns give you good chances.
ahh, improving on fritz's play just put the king on d6 and cover the f pawn with the bishop duh me 🙂
