pawn promotion

I wanted to promote a pawn to a knight but it automatically gave me a queen. Is there something I should have done differently? Can I correct that?

It is easy to miss. Before you submit your move there is a drop-down box where you select your promotion piece, but you must change the selection from the default Queen choice.
