The problem with executing blacks plan right now is that white has a good response for pretty much all of black's plans. White made a good waiting move and then GM's discovered that black could afford to do the same.

I'm not gonna argue it to much, I'm not sure i really understand a6 either. But 2700's play it and not much else so I'm down.

12...a6 is completely fine in my opinion. All the games that Black lost were because of mistakes in a complicated position. Theoretically I think Black's good here too though. This was also in my original post. Maybe it was too long for anyone to actually read it.

hey toni, yes i followed the links that you stated on the, 'dragon masters' forum, quite interesting it seems that the jury is out, even some were saying that computer analysis with rybka was still, 'unconvincing', yes it may be a cunning way of playing against the pawnriot, sorry if you have to repeat yourself, its not your fault, you know some of us have thick skulls, it just takes a little time to penetrate, but eventually, like water, which given enough time can even penetrate through stone!

I say Ne5 too - it is one of the move dynamic moves, and I rarely play a dragon game where it does not get played around this time.

If we're voting now, I'll go with a6.

I guess I better tally up the votes. The thread is being buried.

Ne5 is the winner by far.
I'll send it now.
