I actually told the guy in the game that this was embarrassing.
I am now convinced that my endgames need a major overhaulling.

I can't believe I couldn't finish this one sooner. provided, his rook was on the better square(s) than mine, surely I should have been able to put this away. I can no longer show my face in the forums, I'm banning myself for 12 hours.

Your opening play was far from perfect - plan with 6.Be3 7.Qd2?! and 8.f4 was really bad - black could get better play with 7...Ng4 and also in 8th move black could get real advantage if they would play 8...d5! (instead of 8...Rb8?!). Also in 9th move black could play 9....d5 with better position.
10.f5? and 11.Bxh6?? was real nonsense - how white could get any compensation if black (instead of 11...Ng4?) would play 11...gxh6 12.Qxh6 Ng4 ?
Also Black has better position until horrible 17...g5?? (instead of 17...Nd4 with better play). also after that white managed to give black some chances with 19.0-0-0? (19.h4!) and only after 19...Bg8? (better was 19...Nb4) white won easily.
Morale: Less brag and more analyse your games.

I didn't actually analyze it at all before making that statement, it just all looked good, so I said it. my bad.
and it's not letting me edit it all away.
oh well, it was 5-0 blitz, so I thought the idea of Be3, Qd2, f4 f4 Bxh6 was all ok, maybe I could have played an h3 in there, to get rid of the Ng4 threat?
