Im looking for someone 1800+ who can play me and analyze the game afterwards.
I would love some personalized tips and what not so that I can improve my play.

Thanks everyone!

I'll do it, but I'm not 1800. I can spot enough improvements in your games that I think I can still do a good job. Challenge me if interested.

You are playing your max amount of games right now 🙁

I challenged you. It is rated, so we'll play and then review.

Can you post it in the forums for us to learn from also?

He is going to wait for the game to end before he analyzes it.
Im pretty sure this is because the game is rated.
Id be glad to post it afterwards, though.

even if it was unrated, if he analyzed it while you played it wouldn't be you playing normally.

I would just have both of you keep notes after each move and then compare notes afterwards.

You know what would be better?

Two players rated 2000+ or close to 2000 play each other, then come here and analyze it together. DF seems like a guy who likes to help others, and if there's someone else willing this would be a good idea.

Would teach a lot to us.
Also, someone could give lessons daily. Maybe get permission to lock the thread to only a few people, and they can give daily posts about imbalances, planning, etc.

I think a lot of players are willing to help. I'll with anything when I can, ask and you shall receive. I generally don't give that much advice on here based on basic play simply because I'm only a 1600. With openings I comment as much as I can when I know what I'm talking about, same with middle and endgame - but my middlegame stuff seems like common knowledge to me and my endgame does too. Of course, maybe I'm mistaking myself, maybe a lot of you guys don't know about open/closed positions, minor piece imbalances, open files, color coordination, classic bishop sacs, opposition, etc. Which is all essential knowledge to push up the ratings list quickly.

If you see Thread 54168 you will see improving in chess is not an overnight feat but hard work at reading theory and practising what you have read in games.
