You know this is a correspondence chess site right? (Games take months, maybe years to complete). If you're so interested in having a game completed the same day you start it, why don't you go play some blitz on yahoo, pogo, or uchess? Dummy.

That's not really fair, and there is no call to insult novices to the site. Even here it is possible, if unlikely, that a game could finish in a day. Sasksmith18's only real mistake is to post this in the chess forum where the 'meet opponents' forum would be more suitable. Games rarely take more than a couple of months to end. It depends on the person you're playing. Often you'll get two or three moves a day which makes a fortnight the game turnover rate - although I have had games last much longer.

I suppose it isn't fair of me to point out the common sense of the whole situation. If you want to play a game cut and dry in one day, correspondence isn't the way to go. He wanted the game done today. Not in a couple months.
