Try posting a proper limk.
as easy as making the comment 😉
Great game, thanks for the link: move 34 was the killer (and move 13 was very, very amusing for a mediocre player like myself, nice recovery, kudos), but I think you played brilliantly at times, I particularly enjoyed watching your knights redeploy. He played well, too, but he had to resign, he was two moves from mate.

Then 49...Bh3 50. Qg3 etc?
(although he still would have lost in the long run... probably)
I could be wrong though, just look at my rating...

Originally posted by mosquitorespectNo, you're right, but like you say, there really is no future once the Queen penetrates to the final rank and the a pawn threatens promotion.

Yes, mosquitorespect is correct...White could have avoided an
immidiate mate with 49. Qb8...
You played a very good game, and Amaurote was right in pointing out
that move 34 was the real killer...
I didn't run a computer analysis, I just played through the game
on the link, but Chomper, did you think that White may have been
in real trouble when he castled Queen side on move 18? There was
an awful lot of space in front of the king after that move. I thought
that castling King-side would have been the thing to do in that situation.
Castling Queen-side surprised me
Excellent game Chomper...you found a weakness and put some incredible pressure on White on the a-file after White castled...good job!
10...b6 is a mistake (10...e5 seems a decent alternative with reasonable play for Black). 12.cb seems to be winning material for White.
After that Black played pretty well (21...e4!), although I don't like 24...g5 (it looks too loose - what if White plays 25.h4 opening the Kside quickly, rather than Nf1?).
Nice game.
Just had a quick look.....
10. ... b6 is a big mistake (e5 looks more freeing or maybe just Re8 and e5 next move) white missed the win with 12. ab 13. Qxa8 Rxa8 14. Bxe7 Nxe7 and black has nothing for the exchange.
Not keen on 17. Ne8. Ne4 looks more natural but it did "allow" 18. O-O-O which has to be the wrong side.
18. ... f6 or Nc7 followed by e5 gives black a lot of play.
32. Qd1 is an error as Nxb4 breaks through white's defence (32. ... Nxb4 33. cb Rxb4+ 34. Kc1.
35. Kc1 is the only move as after Kc3 Qa5 destroys white's position.
Also, I like 36. Bg6 and Rf8 just to come at white from everywhere.
Not that it matters at this point but 43. ... Rf8 again kills white off quickly.
Good game overall.....well played
