OK. On move 17 instead of c3 play Qd2 or such like so you can folllow up with Ra e1. leaving a piece on the outpost. I think when you end up with the pawn on e5 it is acxtually quite weak although your iopponent misses a chance to exploit this.
Well played and well finished off though

Posting a win isn't the best way to learn

you made mistakes? well, those mistakes didn't cost you the game did they?

its the mistakes that lose games that are important....

Thats rude mr Shinidoki. Looks like you are new to RHP. Again, it doesn't matter whether u win or loose. what really matters is the game.

rude??

rude? - no, it was an opinion.....and i really don't see the use in bubble-wrapping it in PC as to make sure nobody takes offense....

and of course it matters if you win or lose - if neither player had the determination to win, find the best move [s], etc "the game" would be somewhat dull and uninspiring wouldn't it??

however, I would rather lose playing my best than win without thought....

**and no, i haven't looked at the game because babas can't understand the Pgn....

try removing the extra spaces (returns?) the forum adds after each line 😉

Though it's not entirely true that mistakes that lead to won games don't matter I agree you can usually learn more from a game you just lost.

I keep on getting to messages from Babas.

1) invalid format
2) it doesn't like move 14. Bxd3

I like White's move 15, very nicely done. From there his positional and material superiority inevitably escalates with clinical efficiency on White's part; Black's play is patchier, although he redeems himself with some decent defending and Bishop play near the end. I don't think there's much point in running it through Fritz, the game seems pretty one-sided from the half-way mark onwards. I don't think your hanging pawns were important at all, it looks to me like you realized you were materially way ahead and were deliberately looking to cash the exchange cheques for an early endgame at the price of a superficially more weakened position.
