This is my game against a friend. I am black and I tried to play dragon variation, but he didn't know it. It is 45min per player time control, played on real board.
In the early opening I felt a little bit claustrophobic but I think my middlegame plan was pretty good. Was that plan weak? Could my opponent (as white) defend better?
Can you tell me what would you do different? I play as black.
And yes, is this still very poor playing, too bad to go to chess club by feeling like complete patzer? On what level of rating do you think white and black players in this game are, I know it's a little bit stupid question, but at least approximative?
I have game in pgn so you can put it into fritz or something if you want.
Please!
Thanks for helping.

I think Shinidoki's wrong about 8...Nbxd7 being better than 8...Qxbd7, in one of my OTB games as black I faced the line 1.e4 c5 2.Nf3 d6 3.Bb5+ Bd7 4.Bxd7 - here I played 4...Nbxd7, which is fine, and I won, but after the game I looked up some material about the line and found that 4...Qxd7 is more common as black generally likes to develop the knight to the more active c6.
However, after 3.c3 I think you should have followed with 3...Nf6 which is much more common. Ironically enough in one of today's Linares/Morelia games the line with 3.c3 was played! (I think in the Topalov game) - you should check that game out, it's still being played.
14...exd4? isn't best - 14...Bxh6 15.Qxh6 dxe4 -+
After move 14 this game is over, Nxd4 just about loses, and Bxg7 loses for sure. 15.Qxd4 is probably white's best move actually when material is even for a while, but black has just way too dominant a position.
Shinidoki's comments and analysis are generally pretty accurate, though I would have said 14.?? and 15.??.

anyway, as for Nbxd7/Qxd7
I think Nbxd7 better because it is simple; we develop a peice which has lots of nice squares it could go to later on (eg. b6, c5, e5, f6)....and also, making Rc8 possible, claiming the open file
as for Qd7, I'm not really sure what this achieves, other than protecting b7, and of course, taking the bishop.
Wow I think you played really well!
For Human comments I don't have to much.
3...Nf6 attacking the e4 pawn. Since white played 3...c3 he can't defend that pawn with Nc3.
And then instead of Qe7 I thought Qf5 was good on move 20...
It attacks the d5 pawn again and threatens Re1+ picking up the undefended white queen.
Very nice game to be proud off 🙂
