The formula is explained in FAQ.
There's also a thread somwhere which shows what happens for win/lose/draw.
Perhaps someone else will remember where it is

The opponent you won against was lower rated (by about 100 points) than the ones you lost against. It all has to do with the rating difference at the moment the game ends.
