If we were to substitute "better" with "higher rated", my name could be on the losing side of several games in this thread. I just subscribed and joined my first tournament, and my response to the increase in game load is crappy chess.

I left this site for over a year when I was 1600s.. resigned all the games and the rating is still building back up 🙂 have improved a bit since I was here last.
