I suppose it was called a Benoni, because of the d4, c5 bit, but I still think it seems to fit the Franco-Sicilian Variation better.

Bill Wall's Chess Website, pretty interesting site. Scroll down to "o" and you'll find openings by name, moves, and eco.

Game 2010084 Near win against 2100s player, crushing rook for pawn swap at the end though 😞
Similiar concept.

Game 2086397

Sacrificed the exchange on move 19 to get rid of his most important piece - his dark squared bishop.

I'll submit this one, It isn't against a completly retarded oppenant, and hasn't got any blindingly obvoius blunders, thus it was a *reasonably* well played game

Game 2156452

I was using an opening book, but his 4th move was not "in book", so I thought about how best to reply, after a while I concluded that it wasn't in book because it was crap.... (costs tempo..2 Knight moves)

...and I was elated when he played 7.a3, because all the variations that I could think of (from that point on) were favourable for Black.

That's not funny cms, think before you laugh next time 😞

I saw the possibility of the sac earlier in the game when it would have killed me even earlier but after getting rid of a couple of pieces thought I'd be alright, I was wrong. Too many of Smaug's pawns bearing down on my lack of pawns, finished me off well.
