OK, the Black Mob has moved it's Knight to f4, creating this PGN:

[Round "?"]
[White "crythias"]
[Black "Phlabibit"]

I expected b4, but I guess this one is OK as well...
Now, what to do next? I'd say 18.Qf1, we haven't got much other options, in the Black Strategy thread (they won't read this thread, so they won't find out I looked! 😵), they were talking about 18.Qxe3? and 18.Qc3?, both fail after Nxg2+.
Any other thoughts?
Olav
What's wrong with Bxe3 ? Except it pegs the king. Black won't sac Q for that piece, and the knight on F3 can't go too many places. IF
19. Bxe3, most likely(?) something like Nd5 and we can sac the bishop (and knight)....
Moving us to this:

It's an icky place to be, but White could still be salvageable. Any other thoughts?
ick I see the check thread even after Bxe3
