Game 871430
Check out moves 13 to 20. I thought I was dead and dusted up until that point.
I screwed up a bit along the way, but it wasn't disasterous. I ended up beating a guy 300 points ahead of me at the time. My best win here.
Anyone else had some magic tricks up their sleeve?

Originally posted by DOlivier2004It was a great win, especially against a much higher rated player. But you were never severly down. And at move 13 and on, you had an easily winning advantage. You had a piece for three pawns (effectively two as the one on f2 was undefendable), and were way ahead in development. Before that point, you were only slightly down.

Now that I've improved my chess since then, I see your points and agree with you. At the time, though, things were hairy for me as a 1250 - 1300 player.
